2005 world year of physics

Stefanos Giampanis

''Human's mind can only conceive phenomena, never the essence
And not all phenomena, but only material ones
And not even those, except associations among them
And these associations are not real, independent of human being, but our own product
And not the only possible that human can imagine, but the most sensible and practical''

I am a fifth-year graduate student in Physics at the University of Rochester. I received my BS in physics for Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). I am currently working on the high frequency stochastic background gravitational waves analysis with Professor Adrian Melissinos. Together also with Tobin Fricke we participate in the LIGO Scientific Collaboration (LSC).
